Hi, I’m Erin! I’m sure you’re DYING to get to know me since I’m going to be your bookkeeper..

Well, born and raised in good ol’ Bakersfield, I’m a Californian at heart. Ever heard of Bakersfield? If you haven’t, you don’t need to. I grew up an athlete, and still hold that competitive nature deep in my bones. In high school, ball was life. Then I went to college and became a rower. My team traveled up and down California, across the country to Boston and Georgia, winning gold medals every time we turned around.

Speaking of college, I went to school at the University of California, Santa Barbara. There, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Math and Statistics. Wow, it really seemed like I knew what I wanted in life!…… No, I did not.

After graduating I took to my Bakersfield roots, and worked in accounting for a few years. Fed up with breathing in smog, I dropped everything and moved to Nevada. Yes! I could finally live my dream of hiking the forests and sunbathing on the pristine beaches of Lake Tahoe! In the winter, I would finally elevate to the most well-rounded of athletes as a pro skier! Well, I did learn to ski, but not before tearing my ACL in the process…there went my pro status.

A few more years of accounting later, and I was ready for something more. Thus, Erin’s Evergreen Bookkeeping was born! After working for drilling, manufacturing, and property management companies, I was ready to take the next step in becoming a business owner. And here I am, super excited to learn about you and help with your business’s financial journey.

Oh, and I can’t forget to mention two of my biggest supporters: Mike and Maisie. They are the loves of my life. One is really furry and the other fights fire. I’ll let you figure out who is who. Then there are my parents, who have never hesitated to encourage me with everything I do. They are the best! Anywhere I go, you can bet they’re going to be right there by my side.

I’m here to make your job easier as a business owner.  There are many things to worry about while running a business, but bookkeeping doesn’t have to be one of them. As a certified Bookkeeping Professional, my job will be to take care of your books so you can focus on running your business.

Accounting:

With four years of accounting under my belt, I’ll be able to expertly advise you on the financial health of your business. I will show you what you’re doing well and what you can improve on through financial reports and precise analysis. You’ll never be left in the dark with me as your bookkeeper. I’ll be with you every step of the way!
